acoustics

The acoustical performance of a curtain wall is defined by
-
The performance of its infill elements; and
-
The performance of the profiles of the curtain wall system
As the Fassada H60 hybrid system
-
has no external pressure plate and no screws (knowing that each screw holding the pressure plate is a noise bridge);
-
has a thick and heavy exterior shell for static reasons, which is also favourable for the acoustic performance (the famous mass law):
it is obvious, on condition of the same infill elements of course, that it will be always more performant than any conventional facade.
